For some time now, Michael Thomas, Chandra Adams, and I have conducted interviews with several authors on Empire Beat Magazine/North Bay Media Review. Because we’ve gone to several places such as Lucy Florence, Book Expo America and the Black Writers on Tour, there are quite a few authors who have some great books out, so here are a few interviews for your viewing pleasure.
First up; here is an interview with former NFL player turned author Anthony Prior talking about his two books, The Slave Side of Sunday and Faith on Forty Yards. Enjoy.

New Author Spotlight: De'Alaundria Gardner

De’Alaundria Gardner is a brand new author on the scene with the release of her first book, Inside Her Mind, this summer.
De’Alaundria has written poetry for years about personal and observed experiences in her life. She was inspired to write a book of poetry because in her words:
“I want young women everywhere to know that we as females go through the same life experiences. Heartbreak, love, our feelings towards males, and a woman’s place in society are things we al deal with on a daily basis. I am very passionate about my writings and hope to inspire others to do so too.”
Inside Her Mind is De’Alaundria’s first book in what she hopes to be a long writing career. Her website is myspace.com/dandnbooks. She is requesting to be added as a friend.
North Bay Media Review supports new authors like De’Alaundria and we hope you’ll do the same!
